Connect to BigCommerce
Connecting your BigCommerce store to Interparcel allows you to import your orders automatically, saving you time and reducing manual entry errors.
Follow these steps to connect your store:
Step 1: Obtain your BigCommerce API Path, Client ID and Token
- Log in to the admin area of your BigCommerce site and click on Settings.
- Select Store-level API accounts.
- Click on the Create API account button.
- Select V2/V3 API Token in the Token type and set the name to Interparcel. Make a note of your API path. Then set the OAuth scopes to:
- Customers: read-only.
- Information & settings: read-only.
- Orders: modify.
- Order transactions: modify.
- Products: modify.
- Click Save.
- Make a note of your Client ID and Access Token. A file containing these should also have been saved to your PC automatically.
Step 2: Connect to Interparcel
Once you have your API Path, Client ID and Access Token, you can finalise the connection within your Interparcel account.
- Log in to your Interparcel account. Hover over Shipping Tools, select eCom Platforms and click on Connect your cart. Press the Connect button for BigCommerce.
- On the BigCommerce connection page , enter a name to help you identify this connection, paste your API Path, Client ID and Access Token into fields and click Connect.
Your BigCommerce store is now connected! To ensure a smooth workflow, please follow our guide to modify your BigCommerce settings first. Once your settings are updated, your orders will sync to your Interparcel dashboard, and you can begin to book your shipments.
