Create Parcel Presets

If you regularly ship the same parcel sizes, Parcel Presets let you breeze through fulfilment without manually re-entering dimensions every time. Simply create reusable templates for your most common boxes or satchels and you’re good to go.

You can include the parcel’s size and, if you like, pre-fill details such as weight, contents and value. These details automatically flow into your shipment information in the Shipping Manager.

Parcel Presets are particularly helpful if your ecommerce platform doesn’t display live shipping rates at checkout or if you’re not using our inventory section.

How to add Parcel Presets

1. Log in to your Interparcel account, hover over Shipping Tools, and click Parcel Presets.

2. Click Add Parcel Preset.

3. Name the box or satchel you’re adding. Enter the parcel dimensions (length, width and height) and weight. If the parcel weight varies depending on what you pack, leave the weight blank so you can add it manually when booking. Also add the content description and value if they will always stay the same.

4. Click Save Preset.

5. Click Add Parcel Preset to add more.

Please note: If you’re sending with Australia Post, connecting your MyPost Business account will automatically load their satchels and box sizes into your Parcel Presets, allowing you to select them for faster fulfilment.
