Made Moggie struggled to find items for their cats, so they decided to just do it themselves. From concept, it took a year to research, find products and build an online store.

What does your business do in a nutshell?

We sell high-quality cat furniture, bowls and toys that blend seamlessly into any home interior. We wanted to find sophisticated and innovative cat products for our store and found this possible in European pet brands like Brandodesign, MiaCara and Profeline. We also stock unique, handcrafted items from Japan.

How long have you been operating?

Our online store launched six months ago.

Why feline products?

We always struggled to find items for our cats that we liked. Even when we increased our spend, we were essentially buying items with a short lifespan. We found ourselves throwing these items away within a few months. We felt that there would be many people in Australia who, like us, sought cat products that were beautiful, functional and sustainable.

At the same time, we wanted a vocation that aligned with our personal interests. An online store, based on cats, design and nature was a great fit.

Before Interparcel

Australia Post was our first shipper. We did not qualify for their pick-up service, so parcels were taken to the Post Office daily. We struggled to send larger items with Australia Post.
