The way surcharges are handled depends on the rates you choose for your shipments. If you book through our discounted Interparcel rates using our courier partners, we manage any applicable surcharges on your behalf. However, when you ship using your own (BYO) carrier accounts, any surcharges are handled directly by your courier as part of your existing service agreement. Regarding your BYO Interparcel integration, we keep things simple: after your 60-day free trial, we transition you to a transparent pay-per-order model if you ship more than 20 orders per month. This fee is billed monthly based on your actual usage, so there is no need to select a plan.

How do I manage lost or damaged parcels using my own (BYO) courier account?

The way we handle lost or damaged parcels depends on the rates you choose for your shipment. If you have booked through our discounted Interparcel rates using our courier partners, our team is here to support you and will manage claims on your behalf. However, when you are shipping using your own (BYO) courier account, please contact the courier directly for any issues regarding the physical delivery, loss, or damage of a package.

How can I track my deliveries?

Tracking is quick and easy. Simply head to the tracking page and enter your 12-digit tracking number to see the exact location of your parcel. You can also utilise our Branded Tracking Portal to keep your customers updated, which can be customised with your own brand and colour scheme for a seamless delivery experience.

Who do I contact if I have questions about my integration?

If you have questions regarding your carrier connection or how to process an order through our dashboard, our team is ready to assist. Please email shippingtools@interparcel.com.au, and we will provide the technical guidance you need to keep your operations running smoothly.

Are my negotiated rates automatically synced?

Yes. As soon as you connect your carrier accounts, our platform imports your negotiated rates directly. This ensures you continue to benefit from the specific deals you’ve worked hard to secure with your courier, all within our dashboard.

What happens if my BYO courier has a service disruption?

This is where adopting a hybrid shipping strategy protects your brand. While we make it easy to use your own negotiated rates, our platform gives you instant access to our wider network of 16+ carriers. If your primary courier faces a service disruption, you aren't left behind; you can simply pivot to an alternative carrier through our platform to keep your orders moving. It’s the smartest way for you to maintain consistent fulfilment and protect your business from unexpected network failures.
